Strange week for the ZPL -

Covid is the only thing that has stopped Will “The Bad Boy” McMaster from scoring this season.

Azzuri are allowed to postpone a game due to water and safety reasons yet Kotara are punished for the same. Maybe the punishment is equivalent to the amount of water…..

Cooks Hill end Cardiff’s title defence with a 4-4 goal festival.

Newcastle Suns thump Warner’s Bay and are top of the table.

Kotara v Mayfield play out an ordinary 1-1 draw.

Fingers crossed although I doubt it, for a full round of fixtures this weekend.

    God bless the ZPL.

With how things are going in Sydney, I would be surprised if we see Swansea for another 2 weeks. Swansea have 11 players out due to working and living on the central coast and all coaches/ managers are out.

They will have some make up games in hand and will be playing every mid week for the rest of the season.

Are Azzurri playing Dudley during this week or is the ground still ‘to wet’.

I assume the Dudley washout game prob gets played on the spare weekend?

And driving past there on the way to work yesterday looked like some patches of water still on the surface. Ground is genuinely no good for winter. Holds so much water being on a swamp

Reliable sources have spotted the ZPL bad playing golf on the weekend instead of besieging Beresfield. Is there anything this man can’t do?
The Tarro Terminator singlehandedly postponed the weekends fixtures as he had a golf game planned and Will McMaster in typical fashion does what he wants.
The bad boy also inspected the pitch at Hexham and at Tarro on his way to golf and in his professional opinion as an ex referee, stated that it could of been played on.
Is it possible that the Tarro Terminator broke the spirit of Azzuri so bad that they didn’t want to play anymore?

Not sure anyone cares about the Bad Boy and his golf.

More interesting to see if he is taking the field or the club in general due players and staff in covid restricted areas.

    Swansea v Warner’s Bay 2-2
    Suns V Cardiff 2-0 Suns
    Mayfield v Azzuri 1-1
    Dudley v Beresfield 4-0 Dudley
    Cooks Hil v Kotara 4-4

    How's that? Someone tested positive?

I would suggest reading through previous posts, that they have a number of players and coaching staff from the Central Coast.

As the Hacker said they will have a busy few weeks coming up with midweek games for all grades and according to the debt collector they already had numerous players out through injury.

Mate if the South west of sydney don’t get their act together they might not play next week either. At what point do they just forfeit 3rd grade and do their best with the squad they have. You wouldn’t mind being the team that gets the first up with no training session

When you have all of your coaches and and 3 first graders and both first and reserve grade keepers out it’s a bit of a problem trying to do the best with what ever is left over
