I think the rule has come in purely to stop rorting in semis. Where teams previously had stacked there bench and inside 5min have made subs to put the higher graded player on. This makes it a bit harder to do if you have a limit on subs

from memory i think it's 3 changes in the 1st half, 4 at halftime and 3 in the 2nd... but someone correct me if i'm wrong

doesn't matter the sub rule is shit anyway, bring it back to normal substitution rule just allow 4 subs in 3rds, normal rule in reggies and 1st, could even have 5 for the pussy's, but once your off, your off.
It's actually 2 in the first half, 4 at half-time and 2 in the second half.
