can't imagine there's going to be many parents taking their kids to a game that will finish at 10 p.m. on a school night

Apparently the eastern grandstand is out for this game. Apparently it's to save costs.

Hopefully can get a point out of this.

What if we have season tickets in that grandstand already?

Sounds like this change wasn't made in consultation with the Jets...

A frustrated Papas said his side, who will now play their third game in nine days, had endured a disrupted week of training and recovery when they were informed of the late fixture change on Saturday.

"To be told: 'Oh by the way, you're going to play a day earlier against a different opponent' - I'm not pleased about it," Papas said.

"It's the first time in my career that something like that has happened. It's challenging beyond challenging to flip things like that.

"Everything is about planning and process and clearly, I know the circumstances are difficult for everyone, but for me it doesn't sit well that these things happen."

Papas said he had yet to be given an explanation why the fixture had been changed.

"The right word (to describe the Jets' situation) is probably difficult to find because it would be really strong. You can't just flip things like that and expect everyone to adjust like this," Papas added.

You'd expect City will be in the same boat as well....

One thing you notice tonight is how shit the rest of the teams in the League are

Every other team we have played we have dominated possession

Tonight can see how Heart are a few levels above everyone else

On another note Jurman can we trade him in and get either Boogaard or Topor back??

The guy looks like he is too slow for this league

We haven’t been the same team last 2 games… even against Brisbane we struggled for possession…. Not sure if Papas to a certain extent changed his tune … hope bot, like Ange stick to your principles…..I feel like I’m watching old Jets again, maybe Adelaide game did more damage then we think???

I think it more has a lot to do with Aussie Footballers not being able to play midweek

Doesn't matter which club it is you don't see Aussie teams playing well intensity wise with 4 or 5 day turnarounds like you would expect from Sth American.or Euro teams

We just look like we are flat from our 3rd game in 10 days

City have had consistent games and a decent break before this one.
We had 6 weeks off and then straight into 3 games in 9 days.

Same City who have not played for 10 days before this game ??

Of course they look good as they ain't flat or fatigued and are well prepared

On another note when can we sign a useful goal keeper ??

The current one doesn't save anything going his way. At least back in the day when we had Birraz and BK even if he didn't dive for free kicks we used to have a keeper who made a few saves each game

Currently our bloke does nothing more than pick them out of the net

I would go as far as saying I would take every keeper in the League before ours and that even includes that Eshay who plays for the Nix

I've been calling for Duncan to be dropped for over a year now. Worst keeper in the league easily. Give James or Weier a run. Though for once can't really blame him today

It's the first time this season we've been truly outplayed and didn't stand a chance. And it's ok.
I'm more disappointed by the 3 games we lost when we should have won.

We need an alternative for Hoff and Duncan.
