Can someone tell me why the Jets no longer play a trial against a NNSW NPL select team. They use to do it years ago but seems to be no longer the case.
I only ask because I noticed on the news last night that the Jets are playing a trial against Coffs Harbour Allstars this weekend.

Should never have been stopped this game. Get this game back and give the local talent at least half a chance of getting noticed before they look at other NPL competitions. I would put an age limit maximum of 22/23yrs old of the players selected.

Me neither. Just googled Steve Piggot Lake Macquarie and the first thing that came up was the Herald Article.
The line that I was able to read for free was “ Northern NSW NPLM strugglers Lake Macquarie have unveiled veteran head coach Steve Piggott as the replacement for Keelan Hamilton.”
So I guess, that’s where it has been confirmed.
