Why not? Other teams have done it for years.

Definitely not saying there was anything wrong with it Aegon. Good luck to the Azzurri, it would be a refreshing change from Edgeworth or Broadmeadow winning it

I think most people would feel this way.

    Buds 1-2 Jaffas

Buds were good today. Young boys put in the yards and could have got something. Jaffas just a bit better but not what their $$$ is paying for. I thought I saw a bit of tension in the ranks. Could be wrong but didn’t look a happy camp.

That’s a dumb thing to say Jaffas haven’t played in about 4-5 weeks what did you expect a 10-0 thumping

Also they are missing their best player in Michael Kantarovski so give them a few weeks and I think we will see a very different Jaffas

Magic look so good just a side note they will be hard to beat

Buds are bottom, not a point on the board and low on confidence. Jaffas are comp favourites and spend big dollars on their squad. So yeah a thumping was what most expected but credit to the young boys putting in shifts at the Buds.

The difference in budget would be about 10x. They have lost by a single goal to Azzurri, Lambton and Edgy. I think they are on the right path with these kids.

Pretty sure Jaffas played 2 weeks ago and got pumped 6.0
Don't know how you get 4 or 5 weeks

Was at the Maitland game. They led 5-1 with 25 minutes to play , put the cue in the rack and replaced 3 good players including their best player in James Thompson and almost paid the price as Cooks Hill ran over the top of them and were unlucky not to get a draw. Must admit that I wasn't expecting a 9 goal thriller.
    A poor result from Jaffas
