FR if they get relegated, there will be no more buds.
It clearly demonstrates how a committee, with there own agendas can f@$k things up.
NNSWF will do everything they can to keep them there.

How bad have Edgeworth looked so far this year.. the Premier club definitely not a top 3 side this season and may struggle to slip into 5th spot. Top 4 early sides Azzurri Maitland Magic and Jaffas

Early days obviously but going on the squads I would imagine Maitland or Jaffas coming out on top at the end of the season. Be good for the comp if Charlestown continue on in their current form. Magic maybe a bit young this year. Edgie not a chance.

Agree Forever, also worked in the area and little rain.
The club was supposed to get drainage done in the off season but were stuffed around by Maitland council from reports I heard

I live nearby to cooks square and we had non stop very heavy rain from around 11pm last night, my yard was dry yesterday and absolutely saturated today not a npl team supporter but just thought id throw my 2c in as im not suprised a game didnt get on. Not sure too many teams would want to be destroying their ground this time of year either as above we also copped a short heavy downpour this afternoon also

Matt Thompson was unavailable so apparently Maitland sabotaged the pitch and will look to reschedule when it suits him to play.

    Bears 0 Jaffas 2
Lambton dominated the first half and should have taken a deserved lead cept for some comical officiating. Bears come out the better in the 2nd but 2 late goals to Kale sealed the win for Jaffas

What a terrible game, both sides giving away possession without being under pressure regularly, poor technique by many trying to control simple passes, neither keeper had to make a save in the second half until the 86th minute, this comps going backwards,

With all the rain teams have had most games recently have been lower in quality.

The pitches are poor quality right now.

Teams have not been able to train properly for a good chunk of time now.

These are reasonable explanations as to why the quality has been a bit lower than we expect it to be.

That only equals a 21 game season. 8 teams with 4 rounds would give 28 games which would be better. You wouldn’t have to extend the season, just play a midweek game every few weeks.

Imagine that setup with the rain we have had this year? Teams would be playing 2 games a week for probably 6 weeks or so. A risky setup IMO.
