Interesting to note that Lakes disabled comments on their post regarding the postponement. Why would you bother if you had nothing to hide?

Interesting results over the weekend. 5th spot is definitely up for grabs.

How will the top 5 end up? Who misses out?

Should be an exciting last few weeks of games and a very tight finals series ahead. It could easily be an outsider winning the GF this year!

I doubt it. Other than the top 4 no other team will win it. . The other teams are trash. The quality of the competition has to be the worst it’s ever been.

if you scrolled down you'd see they have limited their posts on numerous occasions I'd suggest its actually to stop the spam posts from the "pretend live stream" videos.

Was at Lisle Carr today and many will say Azzurri going down to 10 with Matt Tull ( deservedly) sent off midway through 1st half was the major reason and no doubt it was but up to the send off Valo out played Azzurri and looked the stronger side. Azzurri in dangerous ground now, with the depth of squad available if Azzurri don’t make play offs or do something in finals, questions have to be asked and should Graham Law survive ? I would think not. As he had to do better with the players at his disposal.
    Thoughts ?
Although I believe he has been resigned for 23?

Something definitely not right up there but maybe look at the players instead of the coach. Their last two must win games, against Magic and Valo, and you have Taylor against Magic and Tull today against Valo, both getting sent off in the first.
Very poor from two senior players

Lake Macquarie informed the Newcastle Herald after the match that Keelan Hamilton would not be continuing as head coach for next season.

"This has been a mutual decision that has been respectfully and well thought through by both parties," the statement read.

"Both the club and Keelan wish each other all the best for the future and although these decisions are never easy, the professional and amicable nature of communications is a testament to both parties. An announcement on the incoming first team head coach for 2023 will be made in due course."

Seems a strange one to me, obviously results would be a key factor here, but he was on a hiding to nothing, from the outside looking in he had no players or money to work with. And as it is given one season to perform a miracle.

Lots of talk at Lakes around new brand and cash plus improvement and Youth development. The word is none of it was evident. The benchmark would have been simple, finish ahead of Rosebuds and Cooks Hill. Failed.
