The goalmouth closest to the houses at Tarro yesterday was wetter than an otter's pocket yesterday. Daresay it'll be ruined for the rest of the year because the council will want nothing to do with repairing it

3 officials must have thought it was ok.

Decent day for us. Wouldn't be many occasions where Dudley are down 3-0 at home in both firsts and ressies.

    Credit to Cardiff in ressies
Down to 10 men and 2-0 down at half time. Then pulled it back to 3-3 and were dominating the entire game with a man short. They will be in the finals. Great game to watch..

The red card in ressies (which I didn’t see but heard there was no complaints for the 2 yellows) and the pen and keeping howler in first meant Dudley didn’t help themselves. Suns took their chances and took the points. Can’t be any complaints. First grade Dudley didn’t look up for the contest which was surprising.

If that’s Dudley’s keeper for the whole season they are in trouble
Was a good game to watch not many of the Dudley locals out for the biggest derby in Newcastle Football though which was disappointing.
Ref had a great game also I thought compared to what I’ve seen this season

The ref definitely one of the better ones that we have seen. I guess that’s the difference with a Sunday game, there’s more quality available.

Not sure what game you were at, there was plenty of locals at the ground, hill was full, far side was all locals,

Yep, they were there. Were just kept a bit quieter than usual.

The ground held up pretty well. Seemed a bit softer at the northern end, but all in all it was pretty good.

The early penalty took the wind out of the sail of the crowd

Agreed. Followed up with the second goal out of nothing didn't help at all.

Cracking day though. Still a hard fought match. Ressies was an exciting one. And the crowd was definitely there in numbers. More there than what you would have seen at NPL fixtures over the weekend.

Warners Bay look like a solid team coming into halfway point some impressive results in first grade for them

Anyone keen to predict how the table will look come the end of the season ?
