I agree, if you are going to pay players in ZFL so be it, own up to it.

That incentive is brilliant, a great way to attract juniors to play up in grade but also for post match sponsors etc

Something new for this year that the committee thought to try and had the means to due to a new major sponsor.
As far as I know there hasn't been any payments or rego concessions at all (excluding financial hardship etc) previously.

With cards on the table, I'm curious which other clubs are putting money into the squad. A few mentions of paying regos - is this for a few select players, first graders, squad wide, long tenures?
Would the vast majority of ZPL teams be doing this, only a couple? I'd be guessing in ZL1 and below it would be pretty rare but maybe a few clubs still investing some $

Everyone got paid in 1sts here and in Sydney but that would be obvious. I didn't think this was a detective trail. But ive been there too. In the older days some juniors 14s up got a few bucks as well, pre SYL,NPL days, to play for certain clubs. Cash was king.

no the clubs voted against it two weeks ago.
