    2021-22 Jets v MacArthur - 26/2 1705

Not sure we'll fare as well today. Hope I'm wrong though.

Guessing the weather is still garbage up there so not expecting much crowd.

Is it a normal game or covid game. Not sure where we are supposed to sit

There's no mention of the Eastern grandstand being closed in the members email, so I assume it will be open? Which is also very handy in case of rain...
BTW I don't think it was closed for Covid reasons - it was for cost saving.

We're doing that thing again where we play some really sexy football but don't make them pay...

And then they did that thing where we give them one chance and they score from it.

Beka probably won't get a contract in Russia anytime soon...

Also, kudos to any of you part of terrace novocastria. Looks as good as it has in the last decade.

    Mate that’s beyond appreciated

We’re putting in some hard yards to run this shit and bring the support back to newy so it’s good to see the hard work pay off.

That was some hit by oar. And the babalj claims a goal he barely touched. 🤣

We are a good side to watch finally

Shame we could do with some better players

Be interesting to see how we go next season when Pappas can try and sign a few players to fix some issues and we can develop a side for once

Probably lose the Manager anyway to the Gypos and have to restart from scratch instead of building something for a change

Woeful brainless footballer but don't let Stanny hear ya. Worst footballer to pull on a Jets jersey since Gallaway.

I don't think Ingham is great. But he's been much better than Hoffman this season. Hoffman looks so off the pace defensively this season it's not funny, poor bloke has just been moved around too much and forgot some key elements of being a fullback.

Also, neither of them have been close to as poor as Elsey has been. I was very excited by his signing but he's the worst CB I've witnessed in the league for a few years.

Even with that we are still so good to watch, I love our games. Win, lose or draw we have periods of games when we are unstoppable in every way but scoring. Best blue balls I've ever had.

Jurman with a lovely assist to Oar... the whole defence is wobbly.
Still, could have won the game.

Also, love Beka and his goal celebration. It takes balls.
I don't know if he risks any sanctions, but there are obviously more important things, so kudos to him.

I thought this at first, but when I rewatched it I think he picked the correct direction (cause there was 2 or 3 Macarthur players on his left side compared to 1 on the right) and he didn't exactly get poor distance on it. No Jets player reacted quick enough plus it was a worldie from a player who a few weeks ago couldn't score from 3 yards with no keeper to beat. Oar will be back to his usual in a few weeks, just sucks that he fluked one against us.

Scratch that, just saw the replay and there was 3 guys on that side, not the opposite. I got confused. Jurman still stinks.
