Seriously....you do not understand the current ownership model? The various owners don't get dibs on players. They are also negotiating a sale and devaluating the asset doesn't make any sense.

Any deals are usual market... pays your money, takes your choice. Jets paid $280k for Penha this season which seens reasonable. If Smurfs want to risk overs on someone who could well be a big fish in a small pond now, that is their perogative.
