Tete went over to U23's in England and is "tearing it up" on loan in Finland at the minute. That almost guarantees he'll end up back at the Jets soon. Based on our signings over the years I think most of our scouts are based in Finland.

    Definitely a good signing.

    Interesting quote from Papas
"We've tried to improve certain areas. One of those is obviously Brandon as a No.6. That was a key priority. Other areas are just to become a quicker team and a more aggressive team as well in the front third and I think we've done some good business in that area as well."

    DONE some good business.

Interesting to see what is announced shortly.

Anyone who says this is a bad signing should hand in their supporter card.

Brandon O'Neill is a great signing for us. He will take a lot of the pressure of our defence and he's a good ball distributor as well.

Mate I will reserve judgement until.we see how he goes

People thought Jurman was a good signing and how did that turn out ??

People thought Jason Culina was a good signing and how did that turn out??

Until we see how O'Neill goes then the jury is still out. For all we know the guy could be on the decline that is why we got him

He missed most of this season with injury but being a shoulder and being 28 he shouldn’t be on the decline

Rumour going around Penha is close to signing with K-League club Daegu FC. If we can’t have him I’d much rather this then Sydney FC

Also a rumour that Beka is being pursued by Victory but I don’t know how much validity that one has

Keep Penha in Australia, get him naturalised and into a gold shirt.

Feels like things have been really quite so far this off season

Club never publicly announced resigning Grozos and Al-Taay, still a handful of players we haven’t either resigned or let go whose contracts are up, rumoured signings like Piscopo etc. have gone dead quiet, nothing on the Penha front which has been brewing for months now.

Compared to last season where I felt our social media was quite strong and we were teasing stuff constantly, this off season so far has mostly felt like radio silence

I could be completely wrong, and getting this confused with something else.
But didn’t the social media person responsible for last seasons hype leave at some stage?

Would make a lot of sense. Shame if true cause they did a good job of adding to the hype of each new signing

The clubs probably still feeling the back lash after announcing Van Egmond was back, they probably thinking it’s best to keep our heads down for a bit .

Turns out clubs announcing a signing tonight.

Based on the photo it doesn’t seem to be any of the rumoured signings, has a sleeve on both arms and piscopo only has a sleeve on the one
