Presumably the 1 week prep time we have. But most other nations seem to be lining something up
They don't want to dent the confidence. No doubt those NZ games showed we were world beaters

Have you considered the tinpot FFA probably can't afford it ??

FFS we got a Gypo as a coach so it ain't like we got the coin like we did when we brought in Venables Hiddink Verbeek etc

At least have an intra club trial with the Gypos.

Ok if you support one of the better teams but there's no way anyone could watch Australia without being drunk.

Actually feeling optimistic about this for some reason.

Can’t wait to see Arnold and have all hope dissipate.

I suppose the good news is that with Qatar being so shit we won't be the worst team at the World Cup now

the better news is, after losing the bid to host 2022 world cup, we are now, not going down in history to be the first host nation to lose the opening match.

Loving the expert commentary and insight so far.
Suggesting they would’ve liked to have seen McGree’s off target shot, “be aimed closer to the goal”.

Great play. Goodwin did well to keep his cool in that situation.

France look very dangerous with Mbappe and Dembele. We don’t quite know how to handle them attacking at pace.

We look like we are playing with some discipline now. Mooy gets ball and a good opportunity for a run by RB but they held position.
Mooy is playing well so far.

France starting to find their groove. They could easily put 4 past us. Gulf in class is just so apparent, despite us playing pretty well.

There is a chance here if we weren't so passive.
