Last season the ZPL teams won the majority of the fixtures against NL1 opposition. Will be interesting to see if history repeats itself

So all ZP1 clubs weren’t asked for expressions of interest to join ZPL? Hope joint committee doesn't go down the same path as NNSW, that is making decisions without any consultation. At the moment ZPL doesn't have the best 12 Zone League teams, I think that's pretty obvious.

I agree I think there will be obvious top half and bottom half. It will hurt clubs in the bottom half especially in lower grades and if bloke are getting belted each week they often don’t return the next year.

There was an EOI process for all ZL1 clubs at some point last year for promotion, so I would assume Uni's EOI still stacked up in the most recent process.
