Warners Bay very physical in first grade. Clearly had a plan to ruffle feathers. Think the 8 for WB walked a fine line and stayed just the right side of it. WB will be at the pointy end of the comp again

All three games were very competitive and got a little heated at times but overall it was a pretty good day of football. As you said I wouldn?t be surprised to see this fixture in a couple of grades at the pointy end of the comp again.

Dudley pulling off three massive 1-0 wins on the trot. Fair play, puts them in a great position for the run in. Going to take some catching.

A marquee player leaving a club that have only produced one win this year after serving a lengthy suspension for decent is a player that any club would want to throw money at(being it cash in hand).
On other news zpl is being played and suns and Dudley are still tipped to be the best but suprise packets of the swans have found some water and causing results and azzuri much to a few likings are still struggling to find a win????
Anyone her bold enough to predict the final 5?

I can?t really see who?d be able to challenge Mayfield for that fifth spot. The first four are a lock - it?s really just about the order

Lightning has struck twice at Chapman with The ZPL Bad Boy scoring another screamer and assisting for the second.

We have only just stopped hearing about his bicycle kick against the Suns and now he scores a 30 yard volley. His ego is unchecked and he is now chatting up all of the old girls at the workers club. No ones mum is safe

However, the Australian diving team has been keeping a close eye on the ZPL Bad Boys performances and has been selected in the 2024 Olympic after a sensational 12 dives in one game and not one foul called. Get up Will.

    Year of the Swan

Azzurri weren?t bad value on Sunday. A missed penalty from Dudley helped the cause. Hamilton lack that clinical guy up front to put the chances away cause they created a few.

Correct. That's been the story for Azzurri all season according to a few of their boys I'm mates with. It also helps keep games tight when you have a gun keeper and line up with 6 defenders like Azzurri do; some quality defenders in the backline too.

Between a former NPL goalkeeper, NPL field player and young guys that give it 110% every week such as the blonde Englishmen, Azzurri will always give a creditable account of themselves in defence. A tight one with the benchmark of the league does not come as a surprise.

I will agree with The Hacker for once, Azzurri lack polish up front, something they have had plenty of in previous years.

Dudley missing half of their starting 11 probably helped a bit as well

Dudley arguably have around 20 first grade players. With the few boys out, they still had Pichaloff in ressies not able to find a first grade starting spot. The depth they have this year is as strong as we have seen in ZPL.

Not arguing that they dont have quality in abundance however 5-6 changes to a team is still quite significant and of course theres a high chance the team will be a bit disjointed until they have played a few weeks together.
