When did Thornton change coaches? Gary Wand had been there for years-does anybody know what happened there?

Local paper reported it a week or two ago. Article said he was stepping away at end of year anyway but felt time was right now as needed new voice and ideas.

Stags keep finding a way to win. Three starting first graders out and the whole squad keeps digging deep and getting the job done.

Well done to the stags. Both sides not at full strength but provided an entertaining afternoon. Kahibah dominated the first half and should have had 3 or 4. Stags probably the better in the second and were rescued two very good individual goals.
If these two make the GF, it could be a cracker!

In an entertaining afternoon at Kahibah Oval, Kahibah got away with a late equaliser (89" minute soft penalty in anyone's opinion).
Both teams had many chances and it was a great game to watch.

Same way Wallsend did round 1…. I think anyone can beat anyone on their day. Hopefully a big home crowd will get them home and a ten point lead in the minor premiership.
