No real shocks there even though I thought we would keep Al-Taay.

curious to see how many more we move on this off season or if the plan is to minimise the amount of movement and keep the team somewhat similar for the first time in a while

It will... but we've arguable removed two massive cogs of the machine in Beka and Gus.

Beka rumoured to be heading to the Bulls

The **** was that email the Jets sent?

Oh we tried so hard to keep Angus but he wants to live in a city with skyscrapers and flying cars........

My God what desperate low rent drivel.

Hes left, see ya, whos next.

I actually have respect for the bloke because he realised he was never gonna be Stu or Jobe so he should go to another shit**** club who have never had royalty like Stu and Jobe so he can stand out.

Surprised the email didnt start the desperate dance the club does to convince me to re-up my tickets for next year. Just give me the bpay details im there straight away Middleby the **** else i have to do these days.

It was amusing how they came up with that cock n bull shit story to avoid saying the reality

We are shit and he don't want to play for a shit club any more

I got no problem with that

Why would you stay to play with guys like Ingham Hoffman Sotirio and Burhagier??

But reading between the lines Hoffman ain't being released as there ain't no tribute to him etc

So expect the club to announce soon his resigning which shows what a joke we are that we offered him a new contract

This club has never been in such worse hands than the current bloke they call boss in the front office. He ran the NRL for 5mins and has been milking that on his Resume ever since just like our coach and his putting out Anges cones on his. Two pretenders looking out for each other.

I have never heard a more pathetic sentence from a football club. It's not even a comment from someone with a microphone in their face in the moment.

They actually put thought into that and typed it and released it in a statement.

That right there folks is the position our club is in. No one wants to be here. He's just making excuses to get outta the place

Good on him, I don't blame him. Hope he enjoys the tall buildings

I tend to agree that's the weirdest comment I have heard from a club for while.

The truth is Thurgate has probably been told 'This year will be different ' for the last 3 years. He simply can't see the jets making the finals in the next year or 2. To go with that Graham Arnold has continually overlooked him for the Olyroos. Maybe to get noticed you have to play for Central Coast, Sydney or Adelaide?

End of the day, it needs to be next man up.

My thoughts exactly 380. As for Gus, an average player at best, Beka, never been much good. New coach, new management is the way
