Also, if we sign that idiot Stajic I hope we get the spoon. The only good things he's done in his coaching career is giving the Gypos another wooden spoon for their collection.

I think this is important in our case at the moment, where we don't have a local owner. Though it's not always important.

Is that code for "he's a gypo"?

Ray Gatt and James Gardiner are reporting Robbie Stanton is the frontrunner. Stanton is Assistant at Sydney FC, having worked with Graham Arnold and Steve Corica.

Some interesting Coaching clients on this list, and the 51 year old at the bottom of the player list

Email from the club with the same.

Couldn't see any evidence of a strong local connection.

Mattiske talks through his backside, quicker the bloke follows Papas out the door the better. If he was any good at sports administration he would still have a leading role at the NRL.

To be clear, I couldn't give two hoots about whether or not the coach is local or not. I'm more interested in how good he is at polishing a turd and putting lipstick on a pig.

I just don't like repeated claims aimed at getting the locals on side and then not delivering anything remotely close to what is claimed.

    Dear Rob,
We're sending you to Newcastle for 2 years to get some A-League miles under your belt before you come back here.

    Warm regards,

This appt was a given from the start. Was employed by one of the bill payers and more importantly the right management group. Sure thing written all over it.

    Cous will be gutted.

He will fail like every other manager will fail thanks to the crap squad we have made up of retirement home candidates, unwanted cast offs and general no hopers.

So much negativity..... Let's give the guy a chance, sounds like the Sutherland NPL coach is coming as his assistant.

Comes from a winning culture and he was their youth coach when some decent players like Marco Tilio came through.
