Cooks hill definitely seem to be doing it the right way
Improving season by season giving young blokes a go
Hopefully the greedy clubs don’t come looking
Valo on the ass end of an asswhooping
I saw photos of the pitch in the morning and it was clearly a swamp
Would it have been ok after a few hours of sunshine, I don't know...but it was "under water" that morning.
Photo was on the competition's FB page. Given the result last night though, hard to imagine Magic had to be worried about playing that game (9-2 scoreline)
Poor Valo seems to have fallen apart since their head of football signed for Maitland (Just my personal observation); hopefully they bounce back.
Doubt they would have called it purposely, they had a networking event planned according to socials. As good as everything outside the field fence is amenities wise, the ground itself at Wanderers Oval (inside & outside the Magic Park facility) is pretty dicey at the best of times. District park was the same before the Knights COE was built.
What about the player merry go round rumours out there or should it be mercenary go round rumours
Newcastle Herald reporting that PPS will be scrapped in favour of a principle's roster, whatever that means. Probably no major change except that clubs with money can spend more on more players.
I'm not a Herald subscriber, but the article for anyone who is:

The player spend a lot of which is helped funded by kids is what is keeping players out of the game
Northern have a stated goal of wanting Northern players playing in the Brisbane Olympics need to find ways to make the game more accessible rather than losing talented athletes to other much cheaper codes.
It is possible to have 18's teams play the same opposition (most of the time) on match day without having to recouple 18's to Senior NPL/NL1, it just depends on whether the Football Operations team have the knowledge and tools available to do it.
