On top of the Kota news, have seen it floated on Twitter that we signed Christian formerly from Macarthur Bulls for a year and a half.

He failed his marking job at the end though.

I can see him in the Socceroos squad soon. Wouldn't have said that 12 months ago.

    Yeah I wonder what changed?

At minimum if the new coach is any sort of serious we have seen the last of Bruno. Giving Goodwin that role is what he deserves as a minimum. Throwing him into the stupid Duke type role won't help and only dent his confidence.

One day we'll pick some decent midfielders who can bring the ball up field and help create chances for Goodwin. Until then let's just do big kicks and crosses and hope for the best.

Very questionable signing. Would have been better off finding a diamond in the rough from an NPL. Showed nothing at the Cows hence why he was let go.

If i try to put myself in the shoes of a NPL player, how many are going to leave their day to day jobs for a six month A-League contract? Very few.
I also question the signing but at least it is only 6 months

Comparing our transfer season to Perth, it’s a big disappointment. They’ve added a lot of depth to their starting XI across all areas, and while we’re yet to see how good those players are, it’s heartening for them I’d imagine to see such a bold attempt to still salvage this season.

On the other side, we could be Brisbane who have actually come out of this transfer window worse for wear at present.

On a seperate note, does anyone else find it odd that there’s no interest overseas for Taylor? A tonne of young aussies are getting signed up at the minute and id say Taylor is, at worst, equivalent quality to some of them.

Nope not surprised, He gone backwards from last season. Not saying he's been bad but certainly not up to what he was putting out last

Needs to back himself more and be scoring more goals, instead of offloading near the box, keep running and SHOOT. Or has he been told his job is to offload, who knows. The Scots want goalscorers like everybody else

The Stanton affect. Grozos, Natta and a few other young players going backwards under him as well

Interesting we've signed a player that isn't on Footballhouseplus' books

Jack Duncan anyone, probably not. Just been dropped by Victory for no reason other than to bring in old favourite Langerak.

I'd be pissed as he has been outstanding last few weeks.

Why not? Issue with Jets or still has overseas ambition?
