Saw a rumour we might be signing Max Burgess from Sydney and Lachie Wales in this January window. No idea of the validity of these rumours, but have seen them floated around
When is the window?
I like Burgess but haven't seen all that much of him lately.
Wales is a hard no. Gypo scum.

Looks like we're signing Kota Mizunuma and based on what I can find and some video clips he's gonna be head and shoulders better then anything we have. Is 34 and still reliably on the bench for Yokohoma

Don't know if its been mentioned but apparently Susjnar is out for three months, which just about puts us at the end of the season by the time he becomes fully match fit again. Feel it could be worth finding an injury replacement who can add some experience to our backline over the rest of the season

In saying that JP, just noticed, in typical ALeagues style, Thursday is the 16th. So lets go with Thursday not Friday

Wales was in Perth last night so looks like he has gone there.
Dj Champness off to Iran.
Rumour this guy is considering coming to the Jets....

Not sure if we should be chasing players in their mid 30s. It goes against everything that the club have established under Rob Stanton. The next few matches are critical in the season, so any transfer business really needs to happy early in the window.
Big problem I see with older players is time. It may take any player weeks or months to adjust. By then season could be over and your left with a decision on whither you keep the player or not knowing next year's competition doesn't start until October. For an older player that can make a huge difference.
I would be looking at a player 26-30, looking at transfermarkt someone like Arturo Molina could be worth a look. Late 20's , Spanish and can play any attacking position behind the striker. Has good experience in the Spanish 2nd and 3rd divisions. Only recently became a free agent after not playing the last few games.
Brandon Barker, 28 is one I would also look at. English Free Agent who can play in a few attacking roles. Came through the Manchester City academy and was seen as the next big thing. Played for Rangers, Hibernian and Preston North End before finding his way to Cyprus playing against Manchester United in the Europa League a couple of years back. Had a poor year at Moorcambe in League 2 last year, but given his pedigree could be worth some investigation.
If you are looking at good NPL talent currently training Franco Maya at Marconi is an Uruguayan that can finish. Left footed who likes to cut in from the right and shoot. Plays RM as Marconi play 442, but could play in a few different positions.
As for the A League , Michael Ruhs at western united is struggling for game time. Can play anywhere across the front, extremely quick.
If your looking for something different, Harry Sawyer at Macarthur is a striker who posses different challenges for defenders. Around 1.95cm tall Sawyer could be useful especially when the Jets are chasing the game when you need a presence in the box. Former Newcastle Jet
Now you know that is not how we do business...anyone South American of any age is one of our niches. We think what they were is what we'll get.
If you ever get to see the video of the press conference, Remo's sheer pride in announcing the exploits of one Mario Jardel is hilarious in light of subsequent events!
Only one bloke on this foz constantly makes me laugh Plague and it ain't you - MFKS
If the chinese got to rename him, I reserve the right to call him by his new aussie name "elko" or "ekky"...
Either of these would be a worthwhile replacement for Wellissol.
