Fletcher fc are the Lakes Zl3 team from 2024. I know there was and possibly still interest from 2 other groups in joining to take the 12th and last spot.

Part of the new change to Promotion / relegation rules out Valentine entering a team.

From now on clubs will be allowed to enter only one side to Football league NPL down to ZL3. Clubs can enter a team into new Zone Football Conference league which essentially replaces third grade for Zl1 and Zl2. Valentine have a NPL side so that is there 1 side, Olympic and Cooks Hill have 2 squads but they are existing squads so they can both enter.

The new changes have been highly debated, controversial to some. They are in now, let's see how it works.

All under the same banner. Seems existing clubs with both are grandfathered in.

Good if they could do something there as it would make 12 teams. But unless those guys went to another club without a team, otherwise, it won't happen.

Unless something happens in the next week or is happening behind the scences I can't see a 12th team. Only realistic way of a 12th team is that the Valentine group go to another club and start there.
    There options are limited
    Belmont is the obvious one
Argenton is probably the next option. South Cardiff could be an option as their club is still split I believe, South Cardiff fc and South Cardiff Community fc. South Wallsend. Jesmond

Or something happens at the Valentine club to make it happen.

As for clubs coming up with a squad with little notice. South Wallsend had 2 higher all age teams last year, that's probably an obvious one.
    Maryland Fletcher could work.

Options are also limited by any of these clubs wanting a Zone League side as well.

100% correct, big issue moving forward. If clubs can't field multiple squads we need more clubs to take on squads. Otherwise the competition has the ability to loose squads and go backwards. It appears the players are there possibly for at least another team or two.
