While it's probably unwise in the grand scheme of things, do the clubs owe anything to the Jets?

Agree Red, but the Jets do themselves no favours by playing youth trials in Sydney on the same day.

And option dates are less now for trials with NNSW bringing season forward 2 weeks and a public holiday in the mix.

Any decent pre season games thus far? How are teams looking? Only a few weeks until the season kicks off (mid Feb which is bonkers)

Wonder if APIA is bringing their 1st Team squad or not. Assume they would considering their 20s have got the Darren Stewart Cup the same day.

APIA v Belswans was 4-2. Belswans defended well and attacked with pace when they had the opportunity. Keeper had a stormer of a game to keep scoreline respectable.

Belswans first goal was off an error on the edge of the box for a open goal tap in, 2nd goal was a great finish on edge of the box after a set piece.

I?ve been to two of Adamstowns games , one was a 2-1 loss to Maitland in which I thought was a solid performance and the other was a 5-1 win against south coast side Bulli FC , not too sure how that compares to any sort of quality however Bulli had some tidy players but adamstown were very good and deserved to win by more.

Who have they picked up. Hopefully they are more competitive this year

The biggest signing hands down has been Riley Taylor to Lambton Jaffa$ and the fact he scored against the Navy & Gold Ark Arks that sparkle like the sun in a trial is the most consolidating feeling to hit local football in a long time

The big winners from the Charity Shield are the 2 sides that play Magic & Jaffas in round 1 next weekend.
3 send off?s + injuries & plenty of battered players.
Do the red cards carry over to the season proper?
