Fixtures released seems Northern have decided to put the recently promoted and the saved from relegation teams to play Odd that they have it on a Thursday night can only assume Belswans wanted it Thursday night or raised no objections to having it then.

Northern also putting the grand final replay on the Friday night

Re BelSwans on Thursday night - more likely northern ignored a clubs request - like they did with many other club requests.

A lot of scheduling is to do with ref shortages

Requests were ignored, clubs received a response that all but said that.

Does that mean your club is still scheduled to play at home Friday night despite it being used by athletics?

In the first release, yep we ended up with games scheduled on the Friday night.

An update has not long gone through, the Friday games have been moved to Saturday night for 16s and 18s, with the 13, 14, and 15 games being played Sunday morning.

Magic played Rockdale last weekend, lost 3-0. Ressies 2-2.

It's an interesting result, given they will play a version of "National 2nd tier" later this year against those top clubs

Imagine the Sydney/Melbourne teams have been back at work for a bit longer than any NNSW club

Lots of players (8) unavailable from last years first grade squad, was still a good hit out, first grade debuts for a few u18s.

Current set up of NST is just a stopgap until 4 more teams can meet the criteria.

Noticed belswans are playing a game against Apia Leichhardt. Have belswans recruited well or is this going to be an ugly scoreline

Trial games aren't debuts, otherwise nearly every player from an u18 squad has made a senior debut...

Why do clubs continually organise trial matches that clash with the Jets, there?s 2 NPL trials at 5pm Saturday, I don?t understand it, I find it poor form from clubs, this why the game in newcastle will never go anywhere

Spot on Red, this is easily fixed by NNSW making it a rule, aren?t we all in this together ?
It is a joke if allowed to continue

The Jets themselves are playing a full day of trials in Sydney on Saturday from U13's through to the Youth team kicking off at 6.30pm.
