Yep, Go 1 up in the first 10min and Stanton to park the bus for the other 80min.

Wellissol is less mobile than Jardel.

    Hook him

I've been complaining about him for 12 months now. Doesn't track runs and switches off too much. Stama papered over soo many cracks last year

This Lachlan Bayliss as a holding mid should be over. Kids is an attacker. He looks lost and isn't strong enough

Stanton has gassed him up after every game saying how good he looked in there but agree he's looked lost

Mark Natta has shown its time to be hooked. Crap for the first, piss weak "charge" for the second, gives away a penalty for the third

Played like a bunch of kids, which is exactly what they are.

Usual "we won last week but will ignore that we were lucky" thinking. Same team looked far worse.

Last night highlighted we needed to play tactically better and we needed to invest smarter in the squad.

With the squad I was waited all pre season for a midfielder or 2. One good CM/DM Athletic ball winner who could distribute. The other a CAM who could pull the strings. The CM/DM had to be someone who could cover all the space when are fullbacks are high. The CAM needed to be someone with the quality to get on the ball and provide the threat in the attacking third. Someone who could play wide if Bayliss played centrally.

I still don't believe Aquilina should be in midfield, it looks like Stanton is playing him there to keep him in the 11. Picking his best 11 players then trying to fit them in??

Wellissol has copped some criticism. The 3 games I've seen he has beat players Easily at times in 1 v 1 situations but his decision making around those moments are poor.

I realise the club is investing in the youth to try and create success and sell them on for transfer fees. But the club would make just as much money and probably more if they brought in a couple of young spanish or Brazilian players with the same objectives that could offer more on the park. All the teams that finish in the top 6 have decent foreigners, we have Wellissol and that's it. 2 more foreigners with some class is what's required.

Tactically I don't know why we need to play with both fullbacks so far advanced. It's not a criticism of them, they are just following instructions. Reminds me of how Tottenhams fullbacks play, just don't cover enough in defence. Whatever happened to the days where 1 fullback stayed back if the other 1 was up the park? What happened to the days where goal kicks went forward not sideways?

You dead set read my mind, I was thinking the exact same thing late in the game. We have assembled too many kids at once to do a mans job. Not by any means having a dig at those kids trying there guts out but the balance of the squad between emerging talent and experienced players is way out of whack eh.

Stanton will unfortunately butcher this kid, An outstanding talent/prospect just not under this coach.

Let's hope that's as bad as it gets, but I suspect that will be the norm. Welli needs to understand we don't play soccer laying on the grass in Australia
Forgot to exclude Arzani and Bruno from that statement

The falling over in this league is getting worse - Phoenix yesterday were pretty bad too.

Just wondering why it hurts so much, I played for 15 years and never got so hurt, so often!

Trump gets shot and they had to hold him down.....
