Well Scott sprayed him halfway through the first half for the lack of press in the front third

Yeh i don't normally care much for he said she said muck raking stuff as i'm all too old for that shit but off the back of the bizarre nature of the post match press conference and in particular the last few minutes of Stanton's comments i did feel compelled to ask the question this morning of somebody. It was said that there is a divide in the playing group that goes much deeper than just a dislike for each other but also who is behind the coach and who is not. I was surprised to hear its not just a couple who feel one way or another but a split pretty much down the middle.

GVE nearly destroyed NTS ignoring his strengths and making him play in an unsuitable way.

Stanton is doing the same with Natta.

I'm still a big fan of Papas, I know others weren't but we played some pretty decent football under him. His recruitment was good for what money he had available, I watched a couple of his training sessions and it was clear the players respected him and followed his instructions.

Damien Zane could be a good interim manager, also would give an opportunity to see if he could possibly do it full time.

Far too many times we are just so inconsistent in games. Yesterday's start was horrendous, then we have some good patches. But the finish reminded me of the city game, playing against 10 and struggling to create. Interesting to see what the reasoning was for poor start, was the warm-up to intense yesterday given the heat?

Either way I was happy I stayed at home instead of going. Having the ability to flick the TV over to watch Travis Head smash the Indians was the correct decision.

Papas as a manager wasnt flexible and second season was found out and didnt do anything to rectify that

Damian Zane as an interim feels like the safest bet, sign some older players for the remainder of the season in key roles (a midfielder is the big one - CAM and a right back stick out for me as well)

Who can ever forget Josh Brilliante 'right back'.

Thanks for the info 380, that's usually the case when the team is under performing, but it's usually the whole team. It's occurred at bigger clubs than ours, but somebody from management needs to grow some balls and get it sorted

Jets have 2 right backs currently one their books in Ingham and Aquilina. You can't bring a right back in unless you did some business the other way.Ingham won player of the year in 2022/2023 so I'd suspect his contract reflects that. Hard to see any movement on Ingham or Aquilina.

Both are decent players, but both look like they are unsure on their roles and that is reflected in their performances.

I would think unless a player moves come January, Nobody of any note will be coming in. I don't think the financials will allow it to happen.

Remember this game. The new coach will take a while to impose his style. Don't be impatient. Just remember this game and be grateful Stanton is gone.

Would not surprise in the slightest if a decision has been made, That was some real weird shit he spoke of in that press conference. An entitled generation and boxing gloves etc. It just got straight out odd toward the end.

You can cop losses on the back of being beaten by much better teams but we don't even look like a ZPL side at the minute. We are playing poor football and players have gone backwards since last season and being called mannequins during the broadcast was pretty f%^&ed. Its a shit comment but pretty hard to argue.

Special shout-out to cancar - developing a very good skill of annoying the shit out of the opposition.

Probably the softest red I've seen for a good few years.

You don?t deserve to comment if you don?t go watch, you need to feel the pain us true supporters are really feeling, it hurts, it really hurts

Time to wipe the dribble off your face....
I also follow Liverpool, I suppose I am not a real supporter as I haven't gone to one of their games.

    Stick to topic...

Nah, you gotta go, using Liverpool as a cover doesn?t add up considering they in a different country, if we all stayed home then we?d have no club eventually

To be fair, you support Adelaide.
