I mean yeah, he's a CB, every mistake gifts the opposition a chance to score.
And every time Scott makes a mistake it's basically a goal conceded.
And every time a striker makes a mistake nobody notices because you've still got 10 men to help cover it.
That's football baby.
This isn't FM, you can't just replace players whenever you get bored of them. We don't have any better options on the bench right now and his positive affect on the game is too hard to replace with any of the alternatives anyways. If our forwards could score a few more goals we wouldn't even notice the mistakes our backline makes.
We have the equal 7th best defence in the league so far this season. We have the 10th best attack, and have scored half as many goals as the most potent. However we have the 8th most expected goals and 8th most touches in the opposition box.
We are creating chances, we are controlling games, we are even defending well enough to be close to the top 6. We just can't score goals. Natta getting dropped doesn't help that and if anything probably hurts it.
To add a little further to Frodo's good post, I thought that was one of Natta's best games this season.
We've got an xG of almost 20 (19.98) season to date and have scored 18 goals so we're a little behind. Likewise our opposition are outscoring their xG (21.63) too, having conceded 25 season-to-date.
