Jesus how are we still even
Not even any more big buddy, yeew. The best thing about that goal is that we had 2 there to score it.

Definitely need some subs now tho, we are exhausted up front and midfield needs help now.

That usually happens to us. Dominate but concede

So, James makes the double save... Which means technically we should have faced a corner instead the goal kick we used to start that attack. Solid payback from the ref for not sending Leckie off after his 3 or 4 yellow card worthy fouls.

    Wasn't it Aquilina?

Anyway, I'm glad Ben Homer is on comms tonight. Give Newy the credit their defensive effort deserves

That's what I thought as well. Yet another cracking assist for him as well.

You might be right. Regardless, a great pass.

    Best win in an age.

    Give Rob his extra assistants.

Gutsy performance. Up there with Jets comeback win v SFC at home when Roy got sent, or coming back to win 3-2 down there v city under Miller.

Finals are still on. On to Western United.

Show up sunday, people. Cheers these boys home.

I think our luck might run out this weekend through sheer fatigue, but that was a great win TBH. Didn't gift them many chances directly in front of goal, defended corners superbly, blocked shots as good as you'll ever see. Amazing from James and Cancar, Grozos and Natta not far behind too.

And that my friends is why football is a simple game where, really, where only one stat matters.

When did XG win a game?

I had my doubts, I still would like to see us not try and play out of the back every time. But well done Rob and the squad.

Is Lachie Rose a chance for the Socceroos squad? Keep in mind Mitch Duke has been the main man up top for some time.

Duke will be one striker, Yengi is only just back at portsmouth after some time out. Toure will be in given his form in Denmark.

Some players absolutely put in the performance of their careers tonight

Based on performance alone, I don?t think you can bench Cancar or Aquilina on Sunday, but one of them has to go if Kota is going to be playing in his usual position

Didn't watch much of the game, but it sounds like City had a Jets night.
    About time!
