Maybe not. The slag is going to a club who won nothing last year.

We just take solace in the knowledge that we have a photo of us winning the league trophy in colour!

We all turned to the drink the day Pires left.
That's when the dream truly died.

Yeah well at least we have never moved into another clubs patch of turf or used underhanded tactics to gain promotion.

LOL @ a spurs fan trying to make a jibe at us when they had to borrow a player, who they couldn't even afford to pay, in order to scrape in to 4th.
Besides you try and give us shit for losing a player like rvp? Spurs would wet their pants at the thought of having a player of his calibre at their club for one game, let alone a season, hilarious.

Over the last like 10 seasons we've trained and brought up arguably the best players in the premier league, none of them were big names when they arrived.

    - Bergkamp
    - Henry
    - Fabregas
    - RVP

You could even chuck in the likes of Pires and Viera. Not a bad effort.

Moving right along, keen for this season. Bring it on!

For what it's worth, the last time I looked Arsenal is a football club in South London who play in North London.

London is the capitol of England which is a member of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland whose capitol is also London.

Those who are born in England are referred to as English. There is also Scottish, Welsh and Irish who make up subsequent parts of the United Kingdom of Great Britain in Northern Ireland. Collectively the people of this Kingdom are referred to as British

Suffice to say none of the players you have mentioned are either English, Scottish or Irish. Let alone British so it is a bit rich for a supporter of a club based in England to claim they gave the world players from Holland and France.

Parksey, I'll give you that, Bergkamp was already a known entity before arriving at arsenal. He should not be part of the list.

    The others not so much.

Yes clearly by saying the club "brought up" these players I was stating that we gave birth to them and raised them. Yay lets take everything we read literally.

Clearly I meant that prior to joining Arsenal these players were not regarded as world class and that the club had a big influence on their development as football players.
I think it's fair to say that since Cesc joined Arsenal as a 16 year old the club probably had a fair bit to do with his football development.
Similarly before coming to Arsenal Henry was a patchy winger that showed signs of promise.

    Haters gonna hate.

PS I'll take having all those amazing players and them leaving the club over never having them at all any day of the week...

    Greatest chapter of our history.
Promoted via the paper bag method.
    Never relegated.
Pretty good of us to to not bang on about it really.
