jobe to score a belter in the 12th minute. bridges to be subbed on in the 15th minute. take it to the corner for the rest. bridges to try a backheel-pirouet-flick-on in the 88th minute, lands at burns's feet, zadkid to tackle him as burns hoofs it long, deflects off zad and winds up a corner. mehmet to score a header off said corner. game finishes 1-1, zad to get blasted for not keeping possession from his deflection. virgili to cross the ball and it sails high, hits crossbar and goes out for goalkick, then gets voted MoM.

    or something like that

Couldn't agree more, and that's exactly what the fox team wants. Off topic but how's about how he got two points against Perth lololol

    Finally I'm back in.
A little while ago for some reason my log in all of a sudden stopped working. Couldn't log in so I went to reregister. But I couldn't register because the answer to the random question kept being wrong. Didn't Joel Griffiths score the goal in the 2008 grand final?

Anyhoo big game this weekend against Perth who we seem to struggle against. I predict a draw as this will be the best result we can get imho. GVE to rest Heskey as he played well and scored two goals last outing and going with a consistant GVE team selection Heskey therefore needs to be rested.

dink - we had to delete a whole bunch of spammers, which we did by getting rid of anyone who had zero posts - sorry you must have got caught in the cross fire

and yes, Joel Griffith scored in the Grand Final win, everyone knows that, even the forum when it checks if you're a real person

also, to everyone, this game will be shown at the Clarendon Hotel, who will also sell you beers while you watch the game

We'll put in a solid performance and only go down 1-2. Peeps will be singing praises forgetting that we collect f/a for the effort.
Be nice to see the opp get a red for a change as well.

GVE said the other night at the youth game that brown will play apart from the bench and he wont be starting just yet. I don't see him risking Kanta seeing the U/19's are away at the moment and to be honest, i think Regan can easily do his job anyways.

Here is my Starting squad and Bench for the Perth game.
    GK - BIRIGHITTI
    LB - NEVILLE
    CB - TIAGO
    CB - MITCHELL
    RB - RITTER
    DM - WHEELOUSE
    DM - ZADKOVICH
    LM - VIRGILI
    CM - GRIFFITHS
    RM - GOODWIN
    ST - HESKEY

    BENCH:
    SUB - NASH GK
    SUB - BROWN
    SUB - REGAN
    SUB - BRIDGES

Heskey had a great game last week & is winning us games - we should leave him here to save him from getting injured.
