Part of me is happy to lose to a goal like that. Fark. Did they let him out of the nursing home to do that? Legit thought he’d been retired at the start of the year.
Another part of me thinks Kompany does shit like this in training and has to run to London to collect the 99999 balls that didn’t hit the target.
Did you see that stat that Kompany has had 37 shots from outside the box in his EPL career.
Guess how many went in?
Yep.
Liverpool though have committed mistakes
They didn't beat a beat up Man U at OT and instead played conservatively
They didn't beat Everton West Ham or Leicester either
Man C have won 18 in the their last 19 EPL matches
They have in this time won the League Cup and have advanced to the final of the FA Cup
They have also advanced to the quarters of the UCL
Reality is their form has been significantly better than Liverpool
the point Mooy was making is that Liverpool have had an outstanding season, but they've been beaten by City who've had an even better season - and that this doesn't mean Liverpool are shit or weak
Their form will be anywhere between 1 and 4 points (at best) better across 38 games - between 0.8% and 3.5% of the season points. I don't deem that as significant.
These are two incredible teams, regardless of what happens Monday morning.
And realistically, neither team has lost this title yet. City have the distinct advantage.

Game on.
Barca will jag a goal at the end and it’ll all be done.
But fark, Liverpool have absolutely outplayed this Barca team for all but 10 minute.
Tingles
