Some people on another forum I was on (forgive me nf.net) specifically for Liverpool have been banging on about him for a few years. I've not seen him play a match but he has some reasonable highlights, then again so does Darren Bent.

We really need to start getting quality over quantity. The need for a squad is diminished this year. I think we will write off Europa for players needing a game. Focus on the League.

Hope City don't match the 50M valuation and he's stuck here. Fair enough request a transfer or better pay, but acting like a spoilt brat to the club that gave him a chance and helped make him the "name" he is now, is a testament to his ego and lack of loyalty.
Any idea how much city are offering for his wages?

I kinda hope we save it for January and actually make 1 or 2 signings depending upon what we need then. Unless we realy are banking on somebody decent.

Maybe they can find a complete player who doesn't break down as often in all of that.

I'll give Liverpool this, they've negotiated some great fees of late with Sterling, Suarez and Torres. It's just a shame they seem to waste the money when they get it.

Yeah i was reading that earlier, that if/when the Sterling medical is completed and he goes, that we will be making a play for Reus..
I also saw Benteke's name thrown about too..
