    What are you reading?

has been ages since I've solidly read for fun & not just for uni. just started to get back in the swing of things.

recently finished Football Against the Enemy by Simon Kuper. was a really good read, had some insightful things about the general world of football & the politics surrounding it all.

am now reading Reg Date - The Don Bradman of Football by Peter Allen. am sure I'll be way more newy after doing so.
    OK

until Friday it's ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 4801:2001

after that probably one of the many novels I've put off reading while studying

I'm about half way through the most recent William Gibson book, should probably try that one first

I've found when obtaining standards from newcat, then putting them on works server, after a few weeks/months the standard "expires" and green-screens. re-obtaining it solves the issue, for the next lot of time. is this a common thing?
    OK

Yes. It depends on the licence the "supplier" has but they do expire after a time. Sort of like loaning a library book.

If I know I'll need it often I just print it and save chasing the copy again. But that's pretty rare.

I don't read soccer books unless it's about the fans and some big chest beating and peacock strutting Casuals/Hooligans/Ultras related.

Though I did just complete the entire Raymond E. Feist Rift war Saga. Epic story and a little dull at time but overall solid.

Now re commencing the Dark Tower serice up to book 5 Wolves of the Calla and have the Song of Ice and Fire series t read as well.

I have had Grapes of Wrath sitting around for ages and have finally started it, trying to get back in to reading.

Football related, I am pretty sure I've got a spare copy of So Paddy Got Up - An Arsenal Anthology. Book released by Arseblog, collection of stories from Arsenal fans. Let me know if anyones keen (just got to confirm I can actually find my own copy before giving away the spare lol)
