    It's actually quite surreal to be honest and it amazes me how the **** they could manage to build such buildings. We can barely manage to maintain our town hall. Imagine if we were in charge of something like this?

    An interesting note. When I was in Kassel we went to the Planetarium there. There was a globe made in the 1500's and where Australia is supposed to be there is nothing there.

    NZ would be missing as well because that area was pretty much uncharted until James Cook came in the 18th Century.

    Cooks maps were very good. Apparently not superceded until the 1950's or so.

    you know the town hall still has a roof right? even has glass in the windows.
