Such a shame to see Vinnie's last few years ruined by injury, probably one of our best in 2006 Germany, but you always had this feeling it was a matter of time before he finally broke.

A fully fit Vincenzo would easily be one of best DMs around, but that was a rare case

following year finish 8th with Sterrey
Comparing Kosminas tenure in charge of the Breakers with Van Egmond's tenure with the Jets is laughable. At the time Kosmina was in charge, the Breakers were part timers, and had a ridiculously low wage budget in comparison with a team that is able to splash $700k on the likes of Heskey.

For Kosmina to be competitive at that time he had to be a magician, not a manager. Sterrey managed to do better, only because of his ability to get the likes of Bob Catlin and John Bonovoglia into the squad. Lets not forget though, that Sterrey also managed to bankrupt the team by promising money for a pre season tournament that the club didn't have, and he did not have authority to spend. Ask Mr Celery about that situation though...

why all the lame excuses? wheres the comparison with gve? It's a clear example his managing style is ineffective and a stupid idea.

As I mentioned the other day, expect the captaincy to be the cornerstone of that signing and Jobe leaving.

I've been told a three year deal for Rubes.

The curse of my kids strikes again.

Every player last season they had their photo taken with ended up leaving. Just last week they had their photo taken with Jobe.

Thankfully the camera (or more likely photographer) stuffed up when getting a photo with Heskey.
