Seems like everything of note on the weekend happened when I walked out of the room. I missed the grab, how did it rate compared to Vukovic's high five in the GF?

similar - basically smacked the red card out of the refs hand but did it from behind so the ref thought it was accidental

You could see clearly he went to grab the refs arm. In the comments on that article you had people trying to defend him grabbing the ref, saying things like if the refs can't handle a little contact etc, but it's always been my understanding, the ref isn't there to get physical with players and if you intentionally touch the ref, you deserve a lengthy ban.

In the 1990 NRL Steve Roach got suspended four weeks for just patting the ref on the head !

SFC will get usual leniency however.

I think he's in a bit of trouble. Precedence has been set with Vukovic. It might not be as lengthy but he will get time.
