Loobo is a bit too edgy for Garry to have amongst his children, can't see it

When talking about zadkovichs temperament he said he liked a certain level of 'conflict' in his team, maybe he wants some more.

GVE wouldn't handle the 2nd guessing Ljubo would do. GVE see's himself as the dictator and if anybody disagrees then they are shafted.
In saying that I think Ljubo would be a bit on the slow side now as age would have caught him a little.

It was GVE who first started chasing after Ljubo. That said I can't see it happening.

    A bit of the truth...

We all say things in anger and frustration that we don't believe to be true or genuinely mean, I am sorry for what I said, I am sorry that I offended people and this is something that I regret.

Was at Hajduk Split for a year, never got near Red Star Belgrade, both eternal rivals for more reason than just football reasons...aside from that both clubs are steeped in honor and tradition, would be a dream for most kids with balkan heritage to play for either team. Check out you tube clips, the best fans in the world, Torcida!

Iran wasn't good timing, trying to keep it simple, never had the chance to walk down the street with my hat, cape, whips or parrot... it was way too hot for the hat and cape, they confiscated my whips at customs and my parrot decided to stay home!

I have been watching the team from afar sad to see Jobe go, top bloke and great player who was everything Newy, a legend in my eyes. A lot of the boys I hung out with have since left, we shared many good times but football teams are constantly evolving, I'm sure the current crop are building strong bonds and memories that will last them a life time.

I love Newy, the people, the fans and especially the Squadron!

    Peace

    Best foz posts in years.

Scozz, usually love your work, especially all your rants about Griff and his fancy shades - but Lubes takes the cake. Need him back asap to sort out our miserable defence and get some spark back in the team. Seriously, Gary's army of cardboard cut-out munchkins and their soundbite interviews are about as interesting as reading stock reports or one of Arnie's whinge-fests.

    Lubes giving Jobe some dap.
Both club legends. Our joint is a sadder place for them not being here.

I don't want to know what really happened to the parrot either.
