The whole point of the NPL is to make state league clubs more professional and make sure any kid with talent doesn't go unnoticed and has a clear pathway if clubs cannot afford a trip to Coffs Harbour once a year then they shouldn't be in the comp as to the said northern based club traveling expanses surely NNSWF can help them out in someway.

This is my mistake as I took the NPL as being the Northern League and not the National Premier League sorry. but as far as the cost side of things, you are forgetting the side from up north has to travel every 2nd week and the cost involved in that. Even though it's once a year for other clubs it's still a large expense.

Why should NNSWF have to spend money on travel for a club that could be used for far better things like development of kids and so?

Because the money would go to helping the "development of kids and so" in the far north coast region by giving the kids a good clear pathway to enhance their skill in a elite competion.
