He was immense tonight. Though there's a few balls in his 6 I'd have liked him to claim. A number of amazing saves though.

    One error.

Wonder if the goalkeeping experts who hate on BK after a similar game will get chirpy.

If bk let that last goal in he would have been shot outside hunter stadium

Biraz was outstanding though in the first half.

The strike from Nicholls had plenty of power and a very nasty dip in it. More often than not that type of shot finds the back of the net. The fact that Birraz would have seen it late made it near impossible to stop.

Birraz had a wonderful game yesterday and I worry about the sanity of anyone holding him responsible for either of the goals.

    I do.

He saved the last 2 pens he faced so no idea why failure this time is acceptable

The second goal was pretty ****ing below average standard keeping. Not good enough from anyone.

Also it was Mitch ****ing Nichols FFS

Of all the prats on the planet FMD

Good work in the first half undone by two errors in 5 mins

By that criteria I wonder why Messi and Ronaldo are being paid so much money given that every time they score it's a goal keepers error.

You lot are a tough crowd to please. No wonder the players hate us.

This is what shitz me about this thread - if BK was in exactly the same scenario he would be roundly criticised by some for letting that shot under him, no matter how well he played for the rest of the game.

BK wouldn't have even dived for the penalty.

Biraz had a blinder in the first half and to be honest I do think he was at fault for the second goal, that is not acceptable to let a goal go under you like that from that range other than he was the difference in the score being blown out

The piss poor marking at the top of the box is what concerns me not anything Birraz did or didn't do.

Based on his performances this season Birraz should be the first player picked every week. He's come a very long way in the past year or so both on and off the field and he should be given credit for his achievements so far rather than be criticised for exogenous factors such as poor marking by our defence.

    very true.

like the piss poor marking when BK was the shittest keeper ever for not stopping brosques shot.

If nothing else the lack of hate directed at birraz despite these two goals being BOTH essentially marked down to "poor marking AND keeper probably could have done better" shows the hypocarcy that the BK haters live by.
Two very similar gaols - one bloke get s blasted, the other treated fairly.
