Not only that, but if he isn't sanctioned at all, they're saying it's okay to kick keepers in the head, which as a keeper myself, scares the shit out of me. The FFA have a duty of care they MUST enforce to show that this type of behaviour isn't accepted.

Smeltz is a ****ing disgrace. It's one thing to be competitive it is an entirely different thing to completely disregard the well being of others.
I look forward to seeing a defender snap Smeltz's tibia in the not too distant future
With respect to Birraz I hope he's ok and not in too much pain.
In the last two games he's now put it beyond doubt that he is our number 1 keeper and that on current form he is the first player that should be selected every week.

I entirely agree, and hope that the MRP deal with him, but it might be that they aren't allowed to consider previous form and only consider and act on this particular incident. What Smeltz is doing is nothing other than cheating, and cheating in a very malicious way. Cheats should be banished from the game.

Smeltz should be gone for a few weeks, almost looked like at the time he thought birraz was faking. Now we are without our number 1 for however many weeks (pending damage)
Birraz is likely to be out for quite a while now, would we be entitled to sign another on a short term contract to cover ?
