Birraz should only dropped when we play the team in second last or last assuming we beat them last time around.

Tbh he's a good enough keeper to know he ****ed up, he'll be better for those two errors.
Mooy's effort was a bullet though. Doubt he would have stopped if he was better positioned..... Though better positioning might have made Mooy alter his option.

As for confidence, being dropped can only do the kid good as a learning experience - he needs to know the lows and how to fight for his position. BK was dropped as previous player of the year through no real fault of his own - and has been through much worse than Birraz.

The bloke ****ed up the other night.

So what. Keepers **** up all the time.

You have to give them a chance for atonement.

Needless to say after ridding ourselves of the Toxin that was our manager InZane needs to actually instil belief and confidence in players. Dropping them for a **** up isn't the right way to win the support of the playing group. Backing Birraz to have a good game this weekend is the right method

If Birraz's form is continually poor then go ahead drop him but never drop a player on the back of one **** up

Wasn't that the reason people wanted to drop Biraz? Because people thought BK was more consistent? Otherwise I can't see why you would want to drop Biraz for BK?

Thought any calls to drop him were to "wake him up" not due to bk being any more consistent.

Saw him sculling a monster coffee in the mall on Thursday arvo. Nothing like a coffee to wake you up a bit. My kid wanted to yell "how about diving for one" but held off. Cheeky 10 year old bugger.

    Not phased.

Mess his hair up, that'll phase him.
Tell him the Germans were watching, that'll phase him.
Tell him reegs is waiting for him at training, that'll phase him.

    "Doesn't phase me one bit".

That's worrying. If I were him, and I ****ed up like he did tonight with the first goal. I would try to get it out of my head for the rest of the game but I'd prob beat myself up for it the rest of the weekend considering we lost the game. If we had gone on to win I would not of felt so bad but still disappointed. The third goal wasn't as bad a mistake, he was at full stretch and did have a degree of difficulty about holding onto it at stretch, but it did still end in the same result.

First one was shit, third was difficult. Wet ball at stretch at speed that bounces right before you is the worst.

Maybe he's not phased as he has already signed his new German deal, just needs to ride this out to just outside the finals cutoff position then have a nice long holiday before his first German preseason.
