It was pretty damn good.. Obviously I was high, but still couldnt shake the feeling that it was a bit cheesy and shitty in parts.. I think I'll have to give it a sober run through.. (Sounds like what I say about every Jets game replay, haha)
I was pretty excited about it but I ended up not going to see it in the cinemas because of the bad reviews it was getting. I saw it on DVD a few weeks back and thought it was enjoyable enough, but you can see why it got criticised. Like you say it's so cheesy at times and the script is pretty terrible. Visually it's awesome.

Argo looks great, I love The Town and I think Affleck is a good director and actor.

agree with prometheus - was great but a lot did seem cheesy. am i right in my understanding that they're going to make a sequel to it, but with the intention to divert away from the alien storyline?

watched the new 007 movie - absolutely amazing. go watch it. there's a lot to take from it that i think they're setting craig's next two bond movies up for a pretty different style of bond movie - i wouldn't exactly say i'm keen for it but it'll be interesting.
    OK

Prometheus was 10/10, absolutely nothing to fault and leaves so much open and to anticipate for the sequels.

Bon i have a question for you. How did the rainmaker send old joe back to the past if it was old joe who was responsible for creating the rainmaker, hence the rainmaker cannot exist until... the rainmaker sends old joe back in time.???? brain explosion.

Dude.. I've got to read your question a few more times before I can even try to rationalise an explanation..
Thats what I really enjoyed about the movie, it got you thinking about everything..

its the old chicken before the egg scenario. its a massive plot hole with most time travel movies.

So a movie about time travel that used actors to pretend to be people had something in it that you found hard to believe.

    Gotcha.

My favourite part is when people pick out plot holes in cartoons that feature talking animals

i'll have to give it a go! Sounds good.

Beware also - if you wife/partner/social director/significant other tries to sell you "Safe Haven" as a thriller movie don't get sucked in. It's not. Very far from it! Urgh
