The only thing Mitchell has going for him is the blonde sitting next to him last night. If Taylor can hook up with her and maintain a starting spot as he should then he is well and truly a newy hero and no need for Mitchell to even be present at the stadium.

Shit player, I bet he will fxxk up majorly in the near future, resulting in one of our worst losses ever.

Reegz should be one of the first players on the teamsheet from now on.

Arguably (depending upon which player you're a fan boy of) one of the most consistent last year. Still one of the best defending options we have with Chapman who is showing a lot of promise.

Mitchell's missus isn't much chop… they were standing right in front us at The Presets last Sunday night.

Been saying it all off-season and all this season, Chapman and Regan should be the first names on the sheet each week barring injury/suspension.

Probably played one of his last games for us. (is he signed for another season?)

If GVE was looking for an excuse to bring Neville or Mitchell back into the mix and shaft Regan ala first half of the season, he's just got a big red excuse.

Poor bloke has had a shocker in the last 2 games. Still rate him as one of our better defenders though.

I was surprised that he didn't replace him with Chapman after the Wellington game.

Mitchell will only be back if Ritter is kicked out as well. GVE was clear about wanting to have a right-footed CB and a left-footed CB, so it's between Chapman and Regan for the right-footed position and Ritter and Mitchell for the left-footed position. Pretty retarded selection policy but it is what it is.

Our best defensive performances have come when Regan and Chapman partnered each other in defence. Seems like a simple decision to me...

Militia you were right to lay the boot into Reegz when you did. Haters just don't understand it when you can see things they don't be strong, Keep the Faith and don't back down when the haterz bite back

i still think regan besides the last 100 minutes of game time, is a must in the centre of defence. ritter, chapman and to a minor extent mitchell are all ball playing centre backs, none of them have that scrappy do all you can to get the ball attitude, (no nonsense local lad to quote baz). I also think regan is one of the biggest communicators in the team from watching pre season games with no noise and thats vital.

think of roar they have matt smith who is the no nonsense bloke and the captain and than they have either a jurman, donachie, etc who is the ball playing centre half. since smith has been out injured there defence has turned to shit. look when we have had regan compared to when we haven't had him. i think the gypos game at home and last weekend are the first games regan has played in that we have lost.

will be very interesting to see how chapman and ritter go this week against smeltz.
