farina reckons he's definately coming back and his wages will be absorbed by the cap.
now that is 1 touch, possesion based, attacking & attractive football.
honestly what the feck is gaz doing. in that vid okon at the back played a forward pass everytime he had the ball something i have never seen chapman, reegz, mitchell, ritter ever do.
am now happy to jump on the bring carle back bandwagon.
plays with both feet and attacks the player.
still scum at the moment now.
So that will leave, what, $1,900,000 over 20 players? JGriff and Grifflet would be on 250k and 200k, so that leaves $1.45 over 18 players. I would imagine Pascal wouldn't be cheap, so that's another 150-200k goneski, so $1,200,000 over 16 players. That's about $75,000 on average, plus I didn't include Fabio, Yau (if he sticks around).
So unless they're hiring Melbourne-based accountants, they are going to have a decent first XI, but any injuries or suspensions and they're ****ed.
Middleby Gone
Lawrie Out
There is no effing way Grifflet is on anywhere near $200k.
FFA thoughts;
Strong Sydney - strong a league
They'll dodge the figures
Carles a good player but for a #10 on the big money he was being paid ($900k a season) he simply doesn't find the back of the net often enough to justify it.
Can't imagine Emmo taking a pay cut from his current 700k wage
What will happen with Lucas Neil ?
How much are they paying Antonis - the greatest prospect in Australian football since Mark Viduka (not).
ADP is worth every cent though and Griffo is still a danger to both defenders and linesmen.
From an old Herald Sun article...
So HOW do you fit that in the cap without skullduggery ??A day after being told he wasn’t going to the World Cup, Carle made good on a promise given two weeks ago and signed a $650,000-a-year contract with Sydney.
