Anyone else hear the commentators say last night was supposed to be Gypos regional round but that got changed?
Was it changed because of the importance of the game? The amount of travelling fans able to make Gypos look full or some other reason?
And when was this decision made?
Sounds weird.
The commentator in the Smurfs V Perth game last night said that was a regional round game and it had been switched to NIB after earlier plans to hold elsewhere. Didn't hear the same remark in the Gypo Wallys game though. Maybe you heard it in the Smurfs B V Barney's affair??
Regional round is a ****ing joke when Sydney teams hold the game in Sydney WA teams hold it in Perth SA teams in Adelaide after Bathurst didn't work for them last year Central Coast is deemed regional enough FFS. At least Victree hold it in Launceston and Nix through NZ.
Each team (from my knowledge) doesn't get a regional match, that would undermine the idea of having each team only getting 13 home matches. Each team plays one regional match, for a total of 5 regional matches a season, then each team has 13 home, 14 away. Scum's regional match was in Tassie against Victory.
