Wish i was there.... if i had the coin every thing was in place for me. RDO on thursday to accomodate my usual rdo on a friday (can't miss out on that because of a public holiday, about the only thing the hierachy at my work has done to benefit the workers). Could of flown down Thursday, full match day experience today (pre and post game drinks etc... am yet to do this), fly home saturday (afternoon of course to accomodate mass hangover/lack of sleep), be home for daughters birthday/easter sunday... everyone wins.
But of course the minister of war and finance says no you can't do that... you have these 500 bills to pay. So i'll be watching at home cheering the boys on, may slip in a bourbon or two...
Of course i want a Jets win, Adelaide win and a Melbourne Heart win.... not sure if we'll get it though... i have doubts that the Heart will be any good. I woud rather us make the 6 and gypos win the premiership than us to miss out...
