what would everyone say to having a forum set up specifically to discuss Socceroos games as they're shown on 1 hour delay on SBS
you'd have to ask to be on there, like we used to with the local forum and you'd be allowed in on the condition you didn't spoil the result
anyone spoiling the result would cop a ban from the whole forum for a few months or have their dog shot or something
WHats wrong with going to the pub/club and watching the prick live if you don't have foxtel??

There's a new thing in the 21st century called the Internet I'm sure you are all aware of it. Fancy thing about this Internet is you can stream any live sport you want. PHAW imagine that watching live sport live
and then there's those of us on mobile broadband who want to watch three games in a month that would totally blow their limit
poxxy image quality on a computer screen pales in comparison to watching it on a 46" HD screen. the delay isn't really an issue as long as you aren't made aware of what has already transpired. hence the suggestion of a special purpose foz for those that choose the delay. ffs, it's not the end of the world. each to their own. the next person to bang on about how the delay is shit and infer that anyone that opts for it instead of a live stream or trudging down to the local are taking the lesser option should gouge their own eyes out.

I like the idea. The guys on fta delay can post at will as if it's live, while ignoring the other threads of people commentating live. Do we need a permission access type deal though? I'm not too sure. If the thread title is threatening enough I'm sure most people will get the idea

yeah, i say do it. maybe try it the first time without a restricted forum. might weed out a few of the deadbeats on here. a restricted forum would just mean more work for the mods, and i assume it is easier just to ban somebody than it is to change their settings, but i have no idea really. also, mods may not necessarily be on during the game, so you may not be able to post without arranging it before the match starts.
