    We wanted to play at Uni, but Ray Watt doesnt have lights and the Jets didnt think the playing surfaces on the other fields were good enough. We were a bit surprised because they are happy to train on these very same fields.     Unless it has changed a lot the oval near the Forum was one of the best fields around. Remember playing catch up games there and only thing was cricket pitch but it usually was well grassed. Perhaps Jets frightened to take on the might of Uni on their home ground. Always said Jets never travelled well.

    So the "community games" have not gone ahead and will not be rescheduled going on past experience. What else are the Jets going to do to engage with these community clubs? Preseason is looking good so far.
