Women's Premier League and talented female player development pathway review
NNSW are about to start a review of the WPL, and the talented female development pathway.
Each of the zones, and the 4 WPL clubs have a representative on the committee (along with 4 nnsw reps) This committee will work towards making recommendations to NNSW.
The focus will be:
Future format of the WPL - more clubs, more grades (u16s) - or no change, and when to grow.
Defining the pathways that elite female players should follow - zone rep teams or wpl club teams etc. Similar sort of focus to the nbn comp review, but taking into account the fact that women's football is not as far along the growth/development path.
If you have some points to make put them up here, the Merewether representative will take them to the committee.
The committee is being chaired by Helen ONeil.
