Whoever wins the other fixture will host the final. FFA (Foxtel) don't want to do it in Perth because of daylight savings differences meaning a prime time game would kick off at 4:30pm leading to shit crowds.
God could you imagine a Tuesday night final at Gosford, doll check comes in on Thursday would be lucky to get 5,000 to the ground.
I watched them play last night, and they are not a bad side.
Yeah i was really impressed with them. Particularly in the second half, they certainly played some decent football against an opposition who were obviously better.
I have loved the FFA cup, it has been brilliant! Great crowds at perfect venues... its a shame the jets suck!

I was impressed by the fact that it was games with state league clubs that drew the biggest crowds. This competition will go from strength to strength in the coming years.
Personally I want to see next year just be a completely random draw - no pots or anything.

They also need to sort out the finals venue. Obviously it will be on Australia Day next season and wasn't this one because of Asian Cup but host city should be decided in advance, kind of like Champions League final or the Superbowl is.
Final should be at AAMI on boxing day - at night.
I don't think I agree with this tbh. I don't see the interest in the FFA Cup final being at Allianz on a Saturday night featuring say Adelaide and Perth, particularly mid-season and arguably the same weekend as the host city's own team playing.
Public holiday might work, like Gaz said, though.
But I'm a firm believer in one of the competing teams in the final should host it.
